Public Fire Safety Education

Many fires and injuries happen every year that could have been prevented. Bleckley County Fire Department places a heavy emphasis on fire prevention and education. We regularly visit schools, churches, daycare centers and public events to help educate both children and adults on several subjects such as Exit Drills In The Home (E.D.I.T.H.), proper smoke detector installation, CPR and much more.

Below, you will find several safety tips that you can download, read or discuss with family members. These and several others can be found on the web site for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) web site. To explore more tips, please visit www.nfpa.org
